Education, experience, references - Graduation from University of Leipzig (Germany) in geophysics - 1988 a PhD degree from Clausthal University of Technology (Germany) - 17 years of employment in the oil industry - Since 1991 independent consultant in the field of seismic interpretation   and depth calculation; registered member of the Dutch Chamber of   Commerce - Knowledge of a wide range of geologic and tectonic environments from   Europe, the Middle East and South America - Over the years collaboration with several international oil companies   such as:   Gaz de France Deutschland GmbH, Lingen   Wintershall Noordzee B.V., The Hague   E.ON Ruhrgas GmbH, Essen   AABAR Petroleum Investments Company, Abu Dhabi   Wintershall AG, Kassel   Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij B.V. (NAM), Assen   Erdgas Erdöl GmbH, Berlin - Besides commercial geophysical work, leading of courses on seismic   interpretation at the University of Leoben (Austria), formerly at the   Universities of Münster, Aachen and Clausthal (Germany)
